- ¾ cup all purpose flour [90g]
- ½ cup vegan butter [112g]
- ½ cup organic brown sugar [100g]
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Filling
- 3 granny smith apples peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp organic cane sugar [24g]
- 1 tbsp cinnamon or 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar

Preheat oven to 350F (170C).
Peel and chop the apples up. Place them into a 9 inch baking dish.
Add the cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice onto the apples. Toss to coat.
In a bowl add all the ingredients for the crisp. Use a pastry cutter, knife or potato masher to cut the cold vegan butter into the flour and oats.
Once they are combined and small crumbles have formed spread it evenly on top of the apples.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until the top is golden brown. You can also broil it for 3-5 minutes to make the top extra golden.
Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Pair with vegan ice cream or vegan whipped cream. Best when eaten warm.
