Equipment

Ingredients

Unsweetened Edamame Milk

  • 1 ½ cups frozen edamame unsalted and shelled
  • 5 cups water

Sweetened Vanilla Edamame Milk

  • 1 ½ tablespoons agave or other sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Boil the edamame for 30 minutes. Discard the water.

  • Start to strain the edamame milk by pouring it through a fine mesh sieve twice. Then for the third round use a piece of cheesecloth.
  • Pour into a container or jar and keep it in the fridge.
  • To make vanilla edamame milk mix all the ingredients together, pour into a container or jar, and store in the fridge.
