This mango passion fruit refresher is the perfect mocktail for weekend brunches. Not too sweet, a little bubbly, and absolutely stunning on a table. This would be great for Mother’s Day too!
We are finally entering the season of needing cold beverages and this drink is here to help you. I wanted to create a delicious mocktail that is easy to make, easy to customize, and great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! So, now we have the Mango Passion Fruit refresher. Only a few ingredients and perfect for any occasion.
Mango Passion Fruit Juice
The juice is of course an important part of the mocktail as it is the main flavor. I bought my juice from Trader Joe’s but there are a few other companies who make mango passion fruit juice. There is one from Santa Cruz and one from Wellsley Farms. Another option would be to use mango and passion fruit juice that is sold as two separate juices and just mix them together. You can also use a variation like a mango peach juice. It will be delicious either way.
The Seltzer
Recently, I have become obsessed with the seltzers from Water Loo. It all started because I had a blueberry flavored one at my boyfriend’s moms house. So, my mom ventured out in the flavors and wanted to try the grapefruit one and I figured that would be delicious in here. You can use any flavored seltzer in here if you can’t find that one. Anything citrusy flavored would work well: orange, lemon, lemon-lime, or just plain unflavored seltzer.
Customize It
The fun thing about drinks is making them your own! Use this as a starting point but feel free to add in things you like. Here are some fun ideas and variations:
- Lime juice instead of lemon
- Add a splash of cranberry juice
- If you like your drinks sweeter add more mango passion fruit juice and less seltzer
- A hint of a cayenne for an extra kick
- Rim the glass with sugar
- Garnish with mango, grapefruit, or passion fruit
- Change the seltzer flavor
