Caraway Review

today, we are going to do a caraway review! I am sure you have seen those gorgeous pans online everywhere so let’s talk about them some more.

I have been eyeing the Caraway pans for a very long time. I love the colors, they seem to cook really well, and they are just really gorgeous. So, I was very excited to get to try some of their products out. I got the Caraway Fry Pan in navy, the Medium Baking Sheet in navy, and the Square Pan in navy.

Chemical Free

On Caraway’s website it states:

“We’re on a mission to craft well-designed home goods that thoughtfully raise the standards of what you cook with. Simply put, our products are designed to make your life easier and healthier.”

Their products are made without toxic materials, things such as:

• PFAS
• PTFE (Teflon)
• PFOA
• or other hard to pronounce chemicals

The products are ceramic coated making it much better for you!

Non-Stick

Another big promise from Caraway is the non-stick factor. I am always a bit skeptical but I was VERY impressed. I first tested it with my vegan Just Egg, because I usually need to use a decent amount of non-stick cooking spray to make sure it doesn’t stick! Also, note that Caraway suggests to use a dash of oil and no aerosol sprays on the pan. The result of cooking the vegan Just Egg was that it came out perfectly! No sticking, no scraping and it slid right out.

The pans are always very easy to wash because of this. The food truly glides right out leaving little residue behind. No hard scrubbing required.

The Packaging

I really enjoy seeing how brands package their products. My Caraway products arrived neatly in a few little boxes. No excess packaging, no plastic bags, and the boxes are recycled cardboard with low impact print dyes. My fry-pan did come with a canvas dust cover with is really great. I also love that all the pans arrived with a cork trivet. Making it perfect for placing on surfaces while the pan is still hot and a nice little touch.

Do They Cook Well?

Now, since I gave you some background info the real question is how do these pans cook? I think they all are phenomenal! There is a reason their products are such a big hit. I have made a few things in the Fry Pan now – a vegan quesadilla, tofu, vegan breakfast sandwiches and I love how easy it is to make things in there. Everything got a nice crisp and came out delicious. On the Baking Sheet I made roasted vegetables. The veggies came out tender and a little crisp. In the Baking Pan I used pizza dough to make a delicious tomato bread. The result was crispy on the outside, doughy on the inside just the way I like it! So, I would say these pans all cooked and performed great.

Who Should Buy these Pans?

I think their products are great for everyone! Even more for people who are just getting into cooking. They work really well, easy to clean, easy to store and they are beautiful. There is a wide variety of colors so you can find something that will easily match your kitchen!

The Cost

One factor that may be holding you back is the cost of these pans. While they are a bit more expensive I truly believe they are worth it. When cooking it is smart to invest in better products so your food is tastier, and it makes cooking more enjoyable.
