a salty and spicy snack mix that is perfect for the holidays! this vegan buffalo ranch snack mix is perfect for parties, gatherings, or to give as a gift.
I love snack mixes. Unfortunately, a lot of them actually aren’t vegan friendly and contain milk for some odd reason. So, I gathered a bunch of snacks along with seasonings, buffalo sauce, and vegan ranch to make this scrumptious vegan buffalo ranch snack mix! It is so easy to make and awesome to serve for a party or give it as a gift.
The Snacks
You can use ANY snacks you like in yours. I went for a mixture of things like pretzels, vegan cheddar snacks, freeze-dried cauliflower bites (they are so good), and some little Annie’s shapes. But feel free to change it up and use any snacks you like. There are tons of awesome vegan snacks out there now so browse the aisles if you like and pick your favorites.
Buffalo Sauce
Most buffalo sauces are vegan friendly but some aren’t. Some can contain milk, butter, or even honey. So, always be sure to double check the ingredients. I either like Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce or I used one I found at Whole Foods by Chef Hak and it was great!

Vegan Buffalo Ranch Snack Mix FAQ
- How long does this last? 7 to 10 days in a container.
- I don’t like buffalo sauce, what should I use? You can leave it out and just make a ranch snack mix. You could use sriracha if you prefer that or you can add in some everything bagel mix.
- Why do you mix the vegan ranch with water? It thins it out since vegan ranch tends to be thicker. If your vegan ranch is runnier you can skip that step.
- What vegan ranch do you use? I like the Hidden Valley vegan ranch or Follow Your Heart.
