looking for a great way to make some vegan fast food at home! you need to try these veganized snack wraps. only 5 ingredients and so fun to make.
When I was thinking of some quick meals ideas I of course thought of fast food. So, a veganized snack wrap seemed like something fun and easy to make. This recipe is probably more of an assembly than a recipe but either way it is yummy. Of course, there are more ways you can make this a bit more homemade if you have more time. We will get into that.
5 Ingredient Recipe
For this recipe you will only need a few things:
- Wraps: you need medium size wraps, I personally like to use carb balance tortillas (that is just a preference)
- Vegan Chicken Tenders: I went old school with the original Gardein tenders. There are so many brands out there now who make them so use whatever you can find or even vegan chicken nuggets.
- Vegan Cheese Shreds: I went with vegan Colby Jack shreds mostly because of the two tone color. You can of course use a vegan cheddar, vegan mozzarella, so many options!
- Curly Leaf Lettuce: I like this lettuce because it has a great ruffly texture it looks so pretty. Of course you can always use romaine or iceberg.
- Vegan Ranch: Again for keeping it easy I went with Hidden Valley’s vegan ranch. There are other brands like Follow Your Heart, Daiya, and more.
How to Make this a Little More Homemade
If you have a few extra minutes and want to make this a little more homemade. You can make some crispy tofu. I like to make it, it is very easy and you can air fry it or cook in the oven. If you want to make a homemade vegan ranch there are so many ways to do it. This recipe has a dressing that is similiar to ranch and is so yummy.

Vegan Snack Wrap FAQ
- Where did you find the Gardein tenders? They are at most food stores in the freezer section.
- What else could I add to the snack wrap? If you wanted to add in some more veggies like carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, or pickles. I would also add some buffalo sauce for a bit of spiciness.
- Can I make this ahead of time? It is best when you make it fresh and it only takes a few minutes to make. However, if you needed to make it ahead of time i would put the dressing on right before eating so it doesn’t get soggy.
- What could I pair this with to make a full meal? I would add some frozen rice and maybe some extra chopped up veggies!

Vegan Snack Wrap
Ingredients
- 6 vegan chicken tenders (about 150g)
- 3 tablespoons (45g) vegan ranch + 2 teaspoons (10ml) water
- 3 medium tortillas
- ¼ cup (28g) vegan cheese of choice
- 10 lettuce leaves (about 30g)
Instructions
- Bake the Gardein tenders according to package directions. If using different tender follow the package directions. You can also air fry if that is an option.
- While it bakes mix the ranch dressing with the water just to help thin it out for drizzling. I transferred mine into a ziploc bag and cut a little hold to make for prettier drizzling.
- When the tenders are done assemble the wraps: drizzle a bit of ranch onto the bottom of a tortilla, place a few lettuce leaves, 2 tenders, sprinkle some vegan cheese, and drizzle a little more ranch. Repeat with the remaining two wraps until all are made. Enjoy.
